Located in the northern part of the Berkshires, the tiny community of Florida is one of the highest towns in all of New England, with an elevation of nearly 1,900 feet. Views of the mountains of both Massachusetts and Vermont can be seen from many points within the town, which sits just east of the famous hairpin turn on the Mohawk Trail (Route 2).
