The end of a late-fall day at Long Pond in Harwich, Massachusetts. One of the few communities on Cape Cod whose town center is a good distance away from the ocean, Harwich nevertheless has terrific scenery, both inland, where there are several beautiful lakes, and at the southern edge of the town, which lies along the coast.
