A spectacular late-winter view of Pinkham Notch from Route 16 in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Pinkham Notch is a popular jumping-off point for people who hike or ski Mount Washington, the highest mountain in New England. The popular Tuckerman Ravine Trail starts at Pinkham Notch, and the Wildcat Mountain ski resort is across Route 16 to the east of Mount Washington and Tuckerman Ravine.
