A footbridge in the center of Somesville, Maine. The tiny village of Somesville is located on Mount Desert Island near the head of Somes Sound and is a short distance from Acadia National Park, Southwest Harbor, and Bar Harbor. Somesville is one of the most charming (and least developed) villages on Mount Desert Island, and is a popular spot for photographers.
