A quiet road in South Hero, VT. Located on an island in Lake Champlain, the tiny town of South Hero is accessible from the mainland by Route 2, which connects several islands in the lake as it heads toward the New York border. South Hero, which is a short distance from Burlington, has spectacular views of New York State from its shoreline. Most of South Hero is rural, with farm stands and a vineyard along its quiet country lanes.
