Blue Ridge Parkway, NC

A view of the Blue Ridge Parkway at the Devil's Courthouse Overlook in the western part of North Carolina. The Blue Ridge Parkway cuts through some of the most mountainous regions of eastern North America, reaching between 5,000 and 6,000 feet above sea level in some spots. It goes through two states--Virginia and North Carolina.
